Practical supply chain management prefers robust solutions over optimal solutions, since a pure optimal solution cannot be found in complex and dynamic supply chain circumstances. Besides, pressures from global competition and advances in information technology have forced managers to collaborate with supply chain partners to gain competitive advantages by exploiting an effective supply chain information system. However, the powerful advantage of a computerized system strongly depends on the availability and effectiveness of mathematical formulation. Accordingly, this work aims to make current computer-based quantitative models more practical, effective and robust in elucidating real-world supply chain behaviors. The proposed quantitative model not only coordinate behaviors among supply chain members, but also yield solutions that are less sensitive to uncertain and noisy data in the scenario set. A numerical example is used to illustrate the practicability and applicability of the proposed method.
