本研究為李瑞麟教練之個案研究,藉由球員的觀點,回溯敘說李教練在1974至1991年間領導美和棒球隊之歷程,本報告聚焦於球員對李教練領導歷程的感受與體會,深入探討李教練的領導行為;經歷三個月的資料蒐集,資料來源包括與五位研究參與者的正式訪談、非正式訪談、對他們的觀察,研究者於研究期間撰寫研究者日誌,蒐集與本研究之相關文件與紀錄等,研究參與者為當時期在美和棒球隊接受過李教練訓練與指導之各階段球員。資料分析主要採用敘說分析,研究可信任性的建立包括參與者檢核、同儕檢核、表述研究者立場、研究步驟與歷程等等;研究結果發現,該個案與球員們在棒球生命的起步、日常生活的互動、訓練與指導的過程、球隊是大家庭的主體情境脈絡裡,是以威權、仁慈、德行家長式領導行為,帶領美和棒球隊接受各面向的挑戰,共同創造出輝煌的成績,本研究之李瑞麟教練家長式領導內涵,在運動教練領導的研究中,具有質化實徵研究多面向的知識提供與參考價值。
In this study, Mr. Rei-Lin Lee was the case. The study covered the history between 1974 and 1991 when Mr. Lee was leading and coaching Meiho Junior Baseball Team and Meiho Youth Baseball Team. The researchers spent 3 months collecting data from 5 research participants for the feelings and meanings of Mr. Lee's leadership to players in their eyes. The study data were acquired through formal and informal interviewing with the 5 participants, and findings were emerged from interviewing transcriptions, observation notes, as well as the research journal of the researchers. On the other hand, the documents, reports and records related to this study were used to support data analysis as well. The participants were all players of different time periods of baseball teams that Mr. Lee had guided, trained or coached to. Data analysis mainly used narrative analysis. The trustworthiness of the study was based on data triangulation, member check, peer examination, expressing the researcher's position and audit trail. Through the research, findings showed that Mr. Lee led and coach teams in mercy, authoritative and patriarchal leadership that was emerged from narratives of four phases: starting of baseball playing, daily interactions, process of training and coaching, and the family team. Hopefully, it could bring sport coaches with a theoretical and practical knowledge in leading a team.
