摘要

澳門大部分長者都患有一種或以上的慢性病，心理與社會層面的健康亦有較大的改善空間。長者成為公立醫療系統服務的主要使用者，在初級衛生保健服務的求診原因發生了明顯的改變。為了更好地應對人口老齡化的挑戰，政府及社會各界實在有必要制定對策來提升長者的健康及自我照顧的能力。

The number of older adults in Macau is rapidly increasing. Most of elderly have at least one chronic disease. Their psychological and social health also need to be improved. Elderly are the main users of the public health care system in Macau, and their attendance reasons have been undergone significant change. In order to deal with the challenges, the Macau government and the community need to develop strategies to improve the health and self care ability of the elderly.
