本文首先以《聖詠》為主軸,嘗試進行《舊約》公義思想的背景性介紹,再透過《羅馬書》爬梳《舊約》到《新約》在該概念上的關聯,一探《新約》神學如何揚棄、發展《舊約》的公義思想。繼而,透過宋代儒學大師朱熹的理學,對應到本身也可連接到秩序運作,與恢復秩序的公義內涵,使「公義」與「理」擁有兩相參照對應,進行會通的基礎。有別普遍以道、聖言(Logos)來對應「理」的類比討論,藉由朱熹具倫理性的理學向度進行參照,讓涵蓋宗教意義的「公義」、「義行」、「義人」的倫理性變得鮮明,以此顯明天主與默西亞的本質與屬性,以及天人盟約關係下的人所呈現出的信仰樣貌。
This article analyzes the concept of righteousness as advocated from Psalms to Romans, in order to try to clarify this concept advocated from the Old Testament to the New Testament and explore the connection between them. First of all, I will discuss Psalms in order to clarify the context and thought of righteousness in the Old Testament. Then based on Romans, I will explain how this concept is discarded (Aufheben), expanded, and adopted in the New Testament. Finally, by making full use of li (principle, rationality) philosophy of Zhu Xi which corresponds to the ideas of orderly operation and the recovery of order contained in righteousness, I will show the common basis of the connection between righteousness and li in which they can refer to each other. In contrast with other analogous approaches in comparative studies of Logos, or Holy Words, and Zhu Xi’s li, I will discuss righteousness from the viewpoint of li, so we can identify the moral dimension of righteousness in the religious sense, in order to demonstrate the nature and character of God and Messiah, and the appearance of faith manifested by the human being within the Holy Covenant.
