南部某醫學中心內外科病房護理工作負荷與病人照護成果之相關探討

摘要

本研究為描述性研究，目的是瞭解南部某醫學中心內外科病房護理工作負荷與病人照護成果之相關性。研究資料包括6個內外科護理單位（3個內科病房、3個外科病房），由同意參與之醫院的護理單位提供護理人力、護理工作負荷及病人照護成果資料，同時於該單位以隨機取樣方式調查住院病人護理照護滿意度，將資料進行相關分析。研究結果：護理人員的婚姻狀態、教育程度、工作年資與專業能力與病人之照護成果有關；護理工作負荷中，平均住院天數、護病比例與病人照護成果有關。建議護理行政主管應參考單位的護理工作負荷，在三班的護理人力及護理人員的專業能力上做適當的調整與分配，同時也應積極地培訓護理人員之專業能力。

The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between nursing workload and patient outcome. A total of 6 nursing units (3 medical wards and 3 surgical wards) participant. Variable were characteristics of nurse staffing, nursing workload and patient satisfaction. Study result showed statistically significant that correlation patient outcome with nurses' marital status, education level of nurses working years of professional competence, lenght of stay, ratio of nurse-patient. Recommend nursing administrators should refer to the unit of care workload, and make the appropriate adjustments and allocation of nursing manpower and nursing staff on the professional competence of the three shifts, and also should be actively training the nurses' professional competence.
