The emerging markets will become one of the primary kinetic energy for the development of the global insurance industry in the next decade. In Japan, insurance market is saturation, insurers won't give up the emerging markets, only input more resource in emerging markets as early as possible, to get market opportunities and create competitive advantage, in order to keep operation stability and higher profitability. This research will be focused on Japanese insurance industry expanding overseas markets background, analysis of their operation and composing their business model and internationalization strategies. Finally, the research will discuss about the benefits of Japanese insurance industry internationalization and the issues of its future facing. Hopefully the analysis and discussion can provide relevant information and assistance for Taiwan's insurance industry in exploring overseas markets.
