這篇文章僅對人權教育的倡導、現況及展望作一簡單的報告,尤其偏重學校裡的人權教育,並就這幾年來的經驗以及所面臨的問題與困境作一簡單的分析,進而提出解決的方案。至於非正式的教育,亦即對社會上不同專業的族群,如司法官、律師、警察、社會工作人員以及社會上一般大眾,宣導人權的意涵,在這裡不能詳細討論,只就受教育部補助的民間人權組織的若干計劃與活動稍作描述。
This article is a brief report on the present state and the future of human rights education in Taiwan. It will be particularly concerned with human rights education in the schools and universities, with emphasis placed on the roles of the academic community, the human rights NGOs and the government. The experiences gained and the obstacles encountered will be analyzed. A few recommendations would be made to tackle the difficulties enumerated in the article.
