摘要

1947年5月16日國軍整編第74師在孟良崮作戰中，遭共軍以5倍兵力圍殲，此結果對戡亂作戰整體戰局影響甚巨。從孟良崮作戰結束迄今近70年，回顧兩岸相關研究，均著重在雙方作戰成敗因素的檢討與師長張靈甫將軍如何殉國。戰史研究的目的，除了要從過去的作戰中汲取經驗教訓，更需藉以彰顯先烈的軍人武德。因此，本文以軍事專業的角度，對歷史的真相作客觀的評析與詮釋。

On May 16 1947, during China's Civil War Kuomintang's 74^(th) Division was annihilated by the People's Liberation Army Chinese Communist Party, which was more than 5 times forces to the Kuomintangs' in Menglianggu. The result of losing the battle also has caused a huge impact to the Nationalist Party in overall situation during the period against rebellion. Now is the 70^(th) anniversary of Menglianggu Campaign. After checking the archives, both sides of two parties' reviews were only focused on the factor caused to success or failure and how General Zhang Ling-Fu died. The purpose of war history study is not only for lessons learn but also for highlight of martyr's morality. Therefore, this article review and interpret the fact of history objectively from the point of military professionalism.
