Aim: To examine the effectiveness of using behavioral shaping strategy to intervene in feeding problem of a preschooler with severely multiple disabilities. Method: Adopted withdrawal design of single-subject study from April to June in 2007. Results: Behavioral shaping strategy could successfully transform the eating model of the subject from eating with a feeding bottle into with a spoon. Conclusion: Behavioral shaping strategy couldn’t be used to help children who can not successfully transfer the feeding stages but maintain effectively. However there was only I subject in this study and couldn’t infer excessively.
