摘要

臺灣日治時期，從武裝抗日到文化抗日，知識分子都扮演重要角色，但隨著戰爭體制的來到，總督府積極推行皇民化運動，壓縮了外向寫實和直接對抗的空間，臺灣知識分子遭遇困境，許多有機知識分子具備理想卻窮愁莫展，雖能自覺啟悟卻矛盾無力，這樣時局使作家的書寫產生變貌，於是臺灣新文學避開傳統暴露式的抗議色彩，轉向內省式的心靈探索，龍瑛宗筆下常見的畸零型知識分子，大體可分為三個類型：終極悲鳴（瘋狂死亡）、邊緣分裂（沉淪困鬥）、調適重組（妥協順應）。透過角色的異化，龍瑛宗凸顯了所屬時空的詭譎，以及那個時空裡知識分子靈魂的騷動，表達一種非常沈痛的心聲和省悟，因而完成另類微妙的寫實主義。毫無疑問，龍瑛宗在他所創作的末世紀圖像裡，蘊含大質量的批判精神，並嘗試在變動不居的世局尋找應有的自我定位，追求典範的人性價值和尊嚴。

Intellectuals played important roles under Japanese colonial rule from armed anti-Japanese to cultural anti-Japanese. However, after Lugou Bridge incident broke out, The Office of Governor-General (OGG) positively promoted the Kominka Movement to compress the extraversion realism and a direct resistance of space. Intellectuals of Taiwan were in a sad plight; they had their own ideals but couldn’t have power to chance the status quo. Although they understood the fact of status quo, their spirit still full of irreconcilable conflict. Writing styles of authors changed under the surrounding. As a result, Taiwan New Literature turned into the introspection instead of the directly protest. I divided the Intellectuals in the fictions of Long Ying Zong into three types: ultimate sorrow and cry, the split of edge, and concessionary and timeserving. Through the roles changed, Long Ying Zong conveyed the Intellectuals' souls restless and the strange and changeful of Times and region. His fictions showed their heartfelt wishes, introspection and understanding, and further, it achieved the Verism. Without a doubt, Long Ying Zong created the last century image that full of a great deal of the criticism of spirit. He tired to find (orientation) the self-image in the Times, and chased after the model value of humanity and dignity.
