Odontogenic fibroma is a rare benign odontogenic neoplasm of the jaw with unclear causes. Patients usually do not notice the lesion until the change of the appearance which is not associated with any other symptom. The fibroma is sometimes detected earlier during dental routine radiographic checkup. This article describes a case of odontogenic fibroma in a 39-year-old female, with symptom of bony swelling over the maxilla. A brief review of the clinical features and treatment of odontogenic fibroma is presented in this report.
