目的:本研究目的為探討Coronavirus Disease-2019(COVID-19)爆發社區感染疫情期間,進行全院員工定期篩檢之感染管制作為,對於預防與控制院內感染之重要性。方法:採回溯性橫斷面研究方法。研究對象為台北市某區域醫院全院員工。Real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)核酸檢測為研究工具。自110年5月13日至110年7月31日,每週篩檢一次。依照顧風險等級將工作場域區分紅區(高危)、黃區(中危)、綠區(低危)。評估RT-PCR篩檢陽性比例、比較照顧不同COVID-19風險等級之工作場域人員的RTPCR陽性率。結果:總篩檢1,221人,採檢總量12,381筆,8名RT-PCR檢測陽性,陽性率為0.66%。陽性率依照顧風險等級區分,結果顯示黃區0.7%、綠區0.7%最高,紅區0.6%次之。結論:醫院早期加強監測措施,進行員工全面篩檢,對於早期識別與阻斷新冠肺炎傳播鏈,防止院內感染擴大可能是有助益的。
Objective: This study aimed to investigate the importance of regular screening for nosocomial infection prevention and control in all hospital staff during the Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) outbreak. Methods: A retrospective cross-sectional design was adopted. The target population was the entire hospital staff of a regional hospital in Taipei City. The real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) nucleic acid test was used as the study tool. The screening was performed weekly, from May 13 to July 31, 2021. Depending on their COVID-19 risk levels, the hospital workplaces were divided into the red zone (high risk), yellow zone (medium risk), and green zone (low risk). The RT-PCR screening positive rate was determined, and the positive rates among personnel in workplaces with different risk levels were compared. Results: A total of 1,221 subjects were screened with 12,381 tests over 11 weeks. Eight subjects tested positive by RT-PCR (positive rate of 0.66%). The yellow and green zones had a positive rate of 0.7%, followed by the red zone with 0.6%. Conclusion: Enhanced early surveillance measures in hospital by comprehensive staff screening is potentially helpful for early identification and interruption of the transmission chain to prevent the nosocomial spread of the coronavirus.
