摘要

臺灣過去一年在積極、嚴格的病例檢測，確診患者足跡和接觸史追蹤，以及入境人士及接觸者的隔離檢疫之下，只有少數的新冠肺炎染疫案例。不幸今年5月臺北市萬華區爆發大規模的疫情，我和其他兒科醫師參與新冠肺炎成人患者的照護。在照護上，除了基本的症狀治療，尤其要避免缺氧症的發生與患者原有的慢性疾病仍須控制得宜。過程中，和其他類別與科別的醫療照護人員的密切合作是十分重要的。此外，提供患者及其家屬及時的病況分析與最新的處置及治療新知，讓病患及家屬能選擇共同決定治療方式，為患者提供最大的利益。

Over the past year, only a few cases with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) were identified in Taiwan under active and detection of traveling and contact history measures on confirmed cases, besides imposing a quarantine on inbound travelers and people with contact history. Unfortunately, in May 2021, a large-scale COVID-19 outbreak occurred in Wanhua District, Taipei City. I participated in caring for adult patients with COVID-19 together with other pediatricians. The treatment included basic symptom treatment, hypoxia avoidance, and adequate control of the patients' co-occurring chronic diseases. During the process, close cooperation with medical professionals of other departments was crucial. Moreover, we provided the patients and their families with immediate disease condition analysis and the latest treatment and therapeutic knowledge to jointly decide the treatment method and maximize the patient benefits.
