This case study described the nursing care experience of a respiratory infections in preschool child. The nursing care was from February 3 to 7, 2012, the author use physical, psychological, social culture and spiritual integrity assessment, Subjective and objective data were collected by conversation, observation and physical assessment, etc. The data was analyzed to identify the subject's major health problems: 1. Ineffective Airway clearance; 2. Hyperthermia; 3. Fear; 4. Deficient knowledge. Using cognitive theories with the characteristics of preschool children's cognitive development for relieve the pressure and anxiety of children admission, adopting entertainment had role-play and talking-story play. The author also strengthens parents to take care capacity, and reduced case mother disturbed. By this nursing experience provide practical example for nursing staffs to encourage nurses to identify the needs of pre- school children and improve their quality of care.
