「警察人員組織承諾量表」之發展與心理計量特質分析

Development and Psychometric Properties of the "Inventory of Police Organizational Commitment"

摘要


本研究旨在將組織行為學的概念與警政管理領域結合,發展適合評量臺灣警察人員之「警察人員組織承諾量表」(Inventory of Police Organizational Commitment, IPOC)以測量我國警察人員之組織承諾及其個別差異。本研究以兩階段抽樣的方式,先立意選擇臺中市警察局所屬分駐(派出)所之基層警察人員為研究母群體,再以兩梯次隨機參加季訓練講習之基層員警為研究對象,共抽取792位基層警察人員。分兩階段進行項目分析、探索性因素分析、信度分析、驗證性因素分析及個別差異的考驗,本量表共抽取出三個因素:努力承諾、價值承諾與留職承諾。結果發現,IPOC模式有良好的適配,且三個階因素皆具有良好的組合信度與變異數平均解釋量,顯示IPOC具有良好的信度與效度,文末並建議未來IPOC之研究方向。

A combined perspective of organizational behavior and police management was addressed to develop the Inventory of Police Organizational Commitment (IPOC) for measuring Taiwanese police organizational commitment and to test the psychometric properties for IPOC. In this study, we employed 312 Taiwanese police to conduct item analysis, reliability analysis, and exploratory factor analysis. We also recruited 480 Taiwanese police officers to conduct confirmatory factor analysis and to analyze individual differences. The findings in this study suggest that the IPOC demonstrated good reliability and validity with 15 items and 3 subscales of police organizational commitment, including effort commitment, value commitment and retention commitment. Therefore, IPOC can provide effective instrument for related studies. Future studies on IPOC research were also discussed and suggested.
