Technical Issues and Problem Solving in Serious Music Game Design

音樂遊戲軟體開發的技術議題與問題解決

摘要


本研究開發了一套早期兒童教育中所適用的嚴肅音樂遊戲。利用Android系統和Flash ActionScript 3.0,製作在平板電腦上的遊戲,將音樂穩定的節拍、音高的匹配、旋律的方向,及即興的五聲音階樂曲創作等教學概念融入遊戲之中。研究描述在設計音樂教育遊戲中的程式撰寫經驗、面臨的挑戰和解決的問題。為求開發時效與簡化的需求概念,研究人員採用了敏捷式軟體開發,所有利害關係人包括企劃人員、程式設計師及設計者皆為開發成員,講求各個階段的即時回饋。研究提出音樂遊戲開發的技術議題及問題解決方式。

This research develops a set of serious music games for early childhood children. Through using android system and Flash ActionScript 3.0 on Tablet, the researchers develop gameplay for steady beats, pitch matching, melodic direction, and improvisation on pentatonic scales. The intent of this research is to describe the programming experience, challenges, and problem solving in a music educational gameplay design. To reach the accomplished results, effectiveness, and simplification, the researchers adopted Agile Software Development method. All the involved planners, programmers, and designers are critical developers who coordinate and provide instant feedback reciprocally. This paper presents the technical issues and problem solving for developing such serious music games.
