夢想起飛--從〈逍遙遊〉與〈蒼鷹獨飛〉談起

Dreams Taking Off-From 'Wondering in Absolute Freedom' and 'Goshawk Flying Alone'

摘要


本文為一通識中文課程教學案例之分享。在功利主義主導的社會下,學校、系所、職業等等往往依其「價值」而有高下之分,處於其間,人也跟著被分類,於是,人生的價值便只能依循外在的規範,而個人的生命意義則消失於其中。此課程是要讓學生學習如何「玩雙贏的遊戲」,遵循內心直覺,依著自己生命的召喚,找到自己的位置,證明人並不是只是「生存」,還有更關鍵的「意義與價值」。藉由《莊子.逍遙遊》與顏崑陽的〈蒼鷹獨飛〉,配合學生中學讀到的〈范進中舉〉,重新反思:任何夢想的實踐,都是一點一滴投入其中,最後再拼湊起來的。夢想實踐的過程與成果,無須別人的肯定。本課程分兩部分,先在室內講授,接著讓學生將自己的夢想寫在天燈或竹蜻蜓上,最後至郊外讓其夢想起飛。

In a society where utilitarianism dominates, schools, departments and occupations are always ranked according to their 'values'; human beings are also categorized according to their wealth. People can only follow the norms of the society to demonstrate their own values; the meaning of life thus disappears. Enabling students to 'play win-win games', to follow their hearts, to answer the call of life, and to find their positions, this course aims to testify that one's mission in the world is to find the meaning and value of life. With 'Wondering in Absolute Freedom' by Zhuangzi and 'Goshawk Soaring Alone' by Yan Kun-Yang as the foundation, the students review the gist of 'Fan Jin Passed the Provincial Level of Imperial Examination', so that they can understand that people's dreams are realized through each and every effort that they make little by little and eventually consolidate as a whole. Other people's recognition does not matter at all to the realization of their dreams. This course is divided into two parts. Firstly, the teacher lectures in the classroom. Secondly, the students write their dreams on sky lanterns or hopters, and set them off to the sky, which symbolizes that their dreams take off and soar high.
