Effect of Rice Husk Charcoal Powder Application on Butachlor Distributions in Paddy Water and Soil

添加碳化稻殼對田水及土壤中丁基拉草之消散影響

摘要


Effect of rice husk charcoal powder application on the fate of herbicide, butachlor, in paddy water was investigated in greenhouse and field. In greenhouse, micro paddy lysimeter (MPL) was employed to monitor the dissipation of butachlor in paddy water under the weather conditions of the 1^(st) and 2^(nd) crop season. Determination of the average concentrations of butachlor at 3rd days after rice husk charcoal powder treatment showed that butachlor was significantly reduced by 45% and 53% during the 1^(st) and 2^(nd) crop season, respectively, as compared to those in the MPL without rice husk charcoal powder application. In field, application of rice husk charcoal powder during the 2^(nd) crop season significantly reduced 62% butachlor in paddy water as compared to the control group. This study showed that rice husk charcoal powder application in rice paddy environment is an alternative method to reduce the concentration of herbicide in paddy field water.

本研究於台灣水田第一、二期作之氣候環境下,利用溫室水田小型滲漏計(micro paddy lysimeter;MPL)模擬台灣水田環境,探討添加碳化稻殼對於丁基拉草除草劑消散之影響,並於第二期作,直接於水田施用碳化稻殼以分析除草劑之流向。結果顯示,第一期作及第二期作於溫室模擬水田之小型滲漏計試驗中添加碳化稻殼處理3天後,可促使田水中丁基拉草消散速度較快,處理組之除草劑殘留濃度分別較對照組減少約45%及53%。而第二期作的田間試驗結果顯示,添加碳化稻殼處理促使田水中丁基拉草濃度較對照組減少62%。無論是溫室MPL模擬試驗、或實際水田試驗,結果皆顯示於水田環境中添加碳化稻殼為減少田水中除草劑濃度之替代方法。
