摘要

本文試圖經由神經生理學上的例證，來輔成根本建構論的建構實體觀。文中包含四個部份，分別是前言、神經生理學（neurophysiology）上的例證、根本建構論（radical constructivism）的主張、建構的實體（constructed reality）等。前言主要包含兩部分，一是論及在知識論（epistemology）上對於實體的一些哲學觀點，二是對有關建構實體相關文獻的探討，如此開頭有助於讀者瞭解本文所從出的觀點。其次，在神經生理學上有關實體建構的例證部分，則是以von Foerster在〈論建構某種實體〉（On constructing a reality）一文中，所舉出例子為主，輔以連結論（connectionism）的觀點，試圖說明建構的實體在神經生理學上的成因。第三，則是說明根本建構論關於建構實體的主張。最後，則是以建構的實體觀是可以成立的作為結論。相信本文有助於釐清對於根本建構論的理解， 另一方面則有益於研究方法論（methodology of research）中關於建構實體的基本認識及其應用。

This paper attempts to improve constructed reality of radical constructivism by examples of neurophysiology. The study is conducted in four parts-the introduction, the exemplifications on neurophysiology, the claims of radical constructivism and the conclusion of constructed reality. First of all, two main sections are included in the introduction. One states the philosophical viewpoints on epistemology while the other focuses on the literature discussion towards constructed reality. The way in the introduction is organized enables readers to be familiar with the ideas this current study is originated from. Secondly, all the examples mentioned in the exemplifications on neurophysiology are based on 〈On Constructing A Reality〉by von Foerster, along with some viewpoints on connectionism, trying to explain the causes of constructed reality on neurophysiology. Thirdly, this study explains the claims of radical constructivism regarding the reality. To wind up, the conclusion is made on constructed reality. This paper is believed to clarify the understanding towards the radical constructivism as well as to enhance the knowing and application of constructed reality in methodology of research.
