大陸學生選擇來台就學之心智模式研究

A Study on the Mental Model of Chinese Students studying in Taiwan

摘要


近年來受到少子化效應與大專校院過多的影響,國內高等教育機構日漸感受到招生缺額的壓力,要如何減緩這波衝擊已是當務之急。而招收大陸學生來台就讀已成各大專院校渴望短期舒緩國內生源不足的解決方案之一,故瞭解陸生選擇來台就學的認知基模與心智模式,將有助國內各大專校院擬定提升陸生來台就學意願的相關策略。本研究採用互動式質性分析方法,針對七位來台短期修習的陸生進行焦點團體訪談,以深入瞭解陸生對於來台就學的心智模式。研究結果發現,陸生來台就學的心智模式可分為五級,分別為主要成因、次要成因、中心點、次要結果與主要結果。整個心智圖的發展係以「政令宣傳」做為整個心智模式的發展起點,以「自我感覺」做為中心轉軸,再以「學習交流」做為結束,其間再搭配次要原因(「他人支持」與「命運安排」)與次要結果(「人生體驗」、「逃避心態」與「生涯規劃」),讓整個心智模式的發展趨於完整。最後依據研究結果提出具體的實務建議,希冀可以做為國內各大專校院訂定陸生招收策略與提升到台就學意願的參考。

Due to the over-supply of higher education resources, some domestic universities have been facing difficulty in recruiting adequate students, and it is urgent to resolve this issue. Among alternative resolutions, recruiting students from China will soon alleviate the issue. This research applied interactive qualitative analysis and used focus group method to explore the mental model of seven Chinese college students who are studying in Taiwan. The summary mind map indicated that subjects' mental model comprises five stages: primary driver, secondary driver, pivot, secondary outcome, and primary outcome. The mind map shows that governmental decrees are the primary driver; support from family members and predestination are secondary drivers; personal awareness is the pivot; enriching life experience, escaping from stiff competition, and career planning are the secondary outcome; learning and scholar exchanging are the primary outcome. Based on the findings, this research accordingly offers suggestions for domestic universities that plan to recruit students from China.
