大學生害羞程度對其生涯發展阻礙影響之調查研究

The Effect of Shyness on Career Barriers for College Students

摘要


本研究之主要目的在了解國立高雄應用科技大學人文社會學院學生害羞特質對生涯發展阻礙之彩響。本研究採用「生涯發展阻隔量表」與「害羞量表」調查人文社會學院一至三年級,共331位學生之害羞與生涯發展阻礙情況,所得資料以單因子變異數分析進行統計分析,研究結果發現(1)不同科系學生之生涯阻礙與害羞程度均無顯著差異;(2)不同年級學生之害羞程度並無顯著差異;(3)不同年級學生之生涯阻礙情形有顯著差異,大二學生生涯發展阻礙較大;(4)人文社會學院學生的害羞程度對生涯阻礙之影響情況,高害羞組的學生較低害羞組學生在生涯阻礙總量表及各分量表均達顯著水準。本研究結果顯示,害羞乃是大學生生涯探索過程中的一項阻礙因素。本研究提出如何降低大學生害羞、生涯阻礙及生涯輔導實務、未來研究等相關建議。

The purposes of this research are to realize shyness and career barriers of students from the College of Hnmanities and Social Sciences in KUAS, and to investigate different levels of shyness affecting career barriers. Data were collected from 331 college students measured by the Shyness Scale and Career Barrier Scale, and were analyzed by one way ANOVA. The major findings of this study were as follows: (1) There were no significant differences in shyness among grades and departments. (2) There were no significant differences in career barriers among different departments. (3) There were significant differences in career barriers among grades, which showed that the scores of career barrier scale for the sophomore were the highest. (4)There were significant differences in the scores of total-and sub-career barrier scale between high-shy and low-shy college students. Some suggestions about how to lower down the shyness and career barriers of college students were discussed and implications for future researches were provided.
