大學運動員之運動道德與運動表現研究

Sports Ethics and Sports Performance: A Study of College Athletes

摘要


本研究目的在建立一個適用於大學運動員使用之運動道德量表,探討大學運動員背景變項在運動道德之差異,以及運動道德對運動表現之影響。本研究以台灣南部地區16所大學之運動代表隊進行取樣,發出480份問卷,回收有效問卷386份,有效回收率80.4%。統計分析結果:(一)運動道德量表具有良好之聚合效度、區別效度及組合信度,其模式為一階斜交四因素模式,包含「服從」、「奮鬥」、「自律」、「友愛」等四個因素。(二)女性大專運動員在服從、自律、友愛方面明顯高於男性大專運動員;兩年以下的大專運動員在服從、自律方面明顯高於訓練年資三到六年運動員、三到六年的大專運動員又在服從、自律方面明顯高於訓練年資七年以上的大專運動員。(三)運動道德的「服從」、「奮鬥」、「自律」、「友愛」等四個因素對運動表現則無顯著影響。本研究已建構出一份適合台灣大專運動員的運動道德量表,可提供未來研究使用。此外,雖然本研究發現運動道德並不會影響其運動表現,但從教育的觀點建議未來仍應加強男生運動員以及訓練年資較資深運動員之運動道德宣導,以培養運動員具備正確的運動道德認知。

The main purpose of this study is through the establishment of applicable sports ethics scales on college athletes to explore the impact of background variables on sport ethics and of sport ethics on sports performance. Out of 480 survey questionnaires distributed to 16 University sports teams in southern Taiwan, 386 valid questionnaires were returned with the effective response rate of 80.4%. The data analysis results show that (1) sports ethics scales have good convergent validity, discriminant validity, and composite reliability and its first-order model contains four main factors of subjection, struggle, self-discipline, and fellowship, (2) degrees of subjection, self-discipline, and fellowship of female college athletes are higher than those of male college athletes. Additionally, college athletes with two-year training achieve significantly higher degrees of subjection and self-discipline than those with three-to-six-year training. In turn, degrees of subjection and self-discipline of college athletes with three-to-six-year training are significantly higher than those of college athletes with more than seven-year training, and (3) four factors of subjection, struggle, self-discipline, and fellowship have no significant impact on sports performance. As such, this study has contributed to construct useful sports scales for future research. Although this study finds sports ethics has no impact on sports performance, this study from educational viewpoint to suggest strengthening the male athletes as well as employing experienced advocacy for sports ethics training in order to cultivate right sports athletes with better ethical awareness.
