高齡者人格特質、休閒涉入與活躍老化之相關性研究

摘要

本研究之目的在探討高齡者人格特質、休閒涉入與活躍老化之關係，以臺南市曾文地區65歲以上之高齡者作為研究對象，發出400份問卷，回收有效問卷共385份，有效問卷回收率96.3%。回收資料經典型相關分析，發現人格特質與休閒涉入有顯著之典型相關存在，其第一組顯著典型相關組合具有解釋力；人格特質與活躍老化有顯著之典型相關，其第一組顯著典型相關組合具有解釋力；休閒涉入與活躍老化雖然呈現顯著之典型相關，但是其所有典型相關組合的解釋力均不足。結果顯示高齡者的人格特質對休閒涉入，以及人格特質對活躍老化皆有顯著且正向之影響。此結果可給予政府單位在調整活躍老化政策、樂齡學習機構設計學習服務以及高齡者建立自我活躍老化模式之參考。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among personality traits, leisure involvement and active aging in the aged population. Subjects of this research were recruited from participants who were at least 65 years of age in Tseng-Wen area in Tainan City. Four hundred survey forms were distributed to collect data, and 385 valid surveys were returned for a 96.3% response rate. The canonical correlation was used to analyze data. The results showed there is significant canonical correlation between personality traits and leisure involvement as well as sufficient explanatory power of the first linear combination is revealed; there is significant canonical correlation between personality traits and active aging as well as sufficient explanatory power of the first linear combination is revealed; there is significant canonical correlation between leisure involvement and active aging, but no linear combination provides sufficient explanatory power. The results indicated that personality traits of aged population have significant and positive impacts on leisure involvement and active aging. The results of this investigation can be used as references for government units in adjusting active aging policies, for senior learning institutions in designing learning services and for aged population in establishing their own active aging model.
