Dentinogenesis imperfecta (DI) is an inherent autosomal dominant hereditary disease. It often causes the patient having severe teeth attrition and occlusal vertical dimension loss. This article reports a 9-year-old boy with DI, and treated with overdenture, composite resin restoration and stainless steel crowns to rehabilitate esthetics and function. The article reviews many literatures to discuss the emphases of the different treatments.
