Ectodermal dysplasia(ED)is an X-linked inherited disease. The most common is the hypohidrotic X-linked form affecting male subjects. ED with oligodontia or anodontia is characterized by deficiency or absence of alveolar ridges. Oral rehabilitation of children with ED should consider the growth and interim treatments at different stages. Multi-disciplinary collaboration and long-term treatment plan is needed. This 12-year-old boy diagnosed with ED presented a complete congenital absence of teeth. At his teen stage, a complete denture was fabricated to improve the mastication and appearance. Implant-supported prosthesis is planned in his adulthood. Regular check-ups and evaluation of child's growth and family's compliance will be helpful in the decision of final treatment.
