資訊科技部門知識管理能力對資訊系統開發成效之影響-組織知識轉換機制的干擾效果

The Impacts of KM Capability of IT Department on IS Development-Moderating Effect of Organizational Knowledge Transforming Mechanism

摘要


在如何成功開發企業資訊系統的議題上,過去研究多從技術面,如系統建置方法論:以及組織面,如系統關鍵成因之歸納進行探討,而較少從知識管理層面切入討論。從知識管理的觀點,資訊系統開發下止為資訊技術的運用,更可視為組織知識的建構:資訊系統從規劃、建置到使用的過程,即為管理知識定義、建構、學習與擴散的過程。在此前提下,資訊部門知識管理能力之良窳,即可能會對系統開發成效帶來影響。本研究目的即在於探討資訊部門知識管理能力,對於資訊系統開發關鍵成功因素之影響。研究結果發現,資訊部門知識管理能力對於系統成功開發會有正向影響,而藉由組織知識轉换機制更能進一步強化兩者關連性。本研究亦進一步顯示藉由適當文化的形塑,將有助於提升資訊部門知識管理能力。

In the past, the literature that disused how to develop information system successfully is mostly in terms of technology, like strategic methods for building information system; or in light of organization, ex. key success factors of information system development (IS development). However, there are still few related studies to discuss IS development from the perspective of knowledge management (KM). From KM perspective, the development of information system reflects not only the renewal and upgrading of information technology, but also the construction of organizational knowledge. Developing information system is the process that firms identify, select, construct and apply organizational knowledge. Under this premise, KM capability of IT department will have a potential effect on IS development. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between KM capability and key factors for developing information system. The major findings show that KM capability of IT department has a positive influence on key success factors of IS development, and interaction of organizational knowledge transforming mechanism and KM capability had significant effect on key factors of IS development. It also reveals that organizational culture is helpful for raising KM capability of IT department.
