稀有猛禽報告─黑冠鵑隼
Rare Raptor Report: Black Baza (Aviceda leuphotes) at Kenting National Park

On 8 October 2006, while I was conducting the autumn raptor migration survey at Sheting Skyward Pavilion in Kenting National Park at the southern tip of Taiwan, at 09: 11, 3 small raptors appeared above the forest canopy. Two of them were Chinese Goshawks (Accipiter soloensis), the other one was a Black Baza (Aviceda leuphotes ). Two days later, at 11: 31 of 10 October, I saw another individual Black Baza followed a small flock of Chinese Goshawks moving northwards. The Black Baza is an uncommon transient in Taiwan.
