Soccer. Culture. Physical Education Worker

摘要


長久以來,表現優秀的運動員,一直都是眾人所矚目的焦點。尤其在全球化及商業化之後,優秀運動員不僅名利雙收,其奮鬥的歷程也成了受歡迎的勵志教材。然而,要養成一位優秀運動員的背後,總是需要無數默默投入、奉獻一生的基層教練。他們對體育發展的重要及其應獲得的尊重,往往被世人所忽略。本研究以質性研究的方法,利用半結構訪談的方式,訪談國內一位長期投入足球運動的基層教練。從訪談內容中,除看見一位令人尊敬、且引人省思的體育人身影外,透過社會學的想像,亦可探知社會變遷及社會文化,皆對國內現今足球運動的發展,產生重要的影響。從訪談文本中,我們也不難看出社會階層隱然存在的事實。因此引用寇爾門(James Coleman)在社會學中提及之理論架構,及韓國躍升的實例,藉此期待國人能更加重視基層教練,發展出優質的體育遠景。

Since long ago, distinguished athletes have always been cynosures in the society. Especially after being globalized and commercialized, they not only achieved both fame and wealth, but their struggles for success also became popular inspiring materials. However, behind these distinguished athletes are numerous primary coaches who have quietly been devoting their whole lives to cultivate outstanding athletes. Their importance to the development of Physical Education and the respect they deserve are usually neglected. The study bases on the interview to a primary coach who has long contributed to soccer the sport with semi-structural interviewing approach focusing on quality. Besides exposing a respectable and inspiring figure of physical education worker, the interview, through the imagination of sociology, simultaneously reveals that social change and social culture both severely affect the domestic development of soccer the sport nowadays. Also from the interview, the existence of social stratum can easily be seen. By referring to James Coleman’s theory in sociology and taking the promotion of Korea for example, the researchers expect that our fellow countrymen can value the primary coaches more to develop high qualities of Physical Education.
