The purpose of this study was to clarify the effect caused by different family socioeconomic status and recreational activity participation on the life quality of high school students. This study took a questionnaire-based survey with a random-clustered sampling from high school students in Taiwan. Base on obtained valid 534 questionnaires under the method of "descriptive statistics", "correlation analysis" and "multiple regression analysis". The result found that: 1. For high school students, higher family income leads to the better physical and life qualities. 2. Spending more time on recreational activity frequently makes better physical life qualities of high school students, but on condition that it costs less.
