As the elderly population in Taiwan increases gradually, the number of people with dementia increases as well. In recent years, more and more attention has been paid to the cognitive impairment of chronic kidney disease. Dementia and chronic renal failure are long-term chronic and special diseases, and they are related to each other. Therefore, in clinical treatment and care, if the cause and symptoms of dementia can be understood, early detection and early treatment can be achieved, the disease can also be controlled and slowed down, and the patient's mentality function and quality of life can be maintained, reducing the burden on caregivers as well.
