摘要

在高水平運動競技中，教練的工作往往給人帶來勝利的期望。勝利是評核精英教練工作成敗的最重要指標。要成為一位成功教練，你不單只要具備對所教項目的技術和戰術的認識與運用，還要掌握教練工作的技巧和領導能力。成功教練是要把藝術和科學融入教練工作中。教練工作所指的藝術是要懂得關心運動員，在設計訓練計劃時把他們放在首位。而科學是指教練在編排訓練計劃以及監督訓練進度時利用客觀和系统的方法去分析運動員在技術、戰術、體能各方面的表現。

In high performance sport, coaching brings with its expectations of winning. Winning is the most important benchmark for evaluation of success or failure for elite coaching. To be a wining coach, you are required to acquaint not only the technical and tactical skills of the sport, but also the leadership and coaching process skills. Successful coach needs to mix art with science on their coaching. The art of coaching can be likened to customer care, by putting athletes in the first when designing training and competition programmes. The science of coaching is to use the scientific approach in analyzing technique, tactics and fitness when prescribing training programme and monitoring of progress is a must in elite coaching.
