2011年臺師大籃球隊在大專籃球聯賽男一級的競賽中完成三連霸,連續三年贏得國內大學校際籃球競賽最高榮譽的象徵,三連霸除了體能、技術、戰術和心理的面向可供探討外,還有其它值得關注的視角,特別是從運動社會人文的角度來看,本研究應用法國社會學家布迪厄的資本觀點,來剖析三連霸此象徵資本的不同價值面向,並以象徵資本為主軸來闡述它與文化資本、社會資本和經濟資本之間的轉換,象徵資本在各種類型資本當中最具轉換潛能,臺師大隊應該善用三連霸的象徵資本優勢,將它發展為球隊經營的策略運用,使它不斷地與不同類型資本進行轉換,如此才能迅速擴大球隊的資本總額,拉大與其它競爭者之間的資本差距,持續占據冠軍寶座。
NTNU Basketball Team claimed its third consecutive championship in the man category level 1 of the annual UBA in 2011, the symbol of highest honor in university basketball competition in Taiwan. The research aims to apply French sociologist Bourdieu's capital theory to examine the phenomenon of third consecutive championship. It analyzes the close relationship between basketball team's symbolic capital and other types of capital. There is the potential of transformation among different types of capital. Symbolic capital is transformed from other types of capital and the accumulation of other capital is also a byproduct of symbolic capital. Symbolic capital has the most advantageous position in capital transformation. Thus, the basketball team should adapt symbolic capital of third consecutive championship as the core of management strategy, constantly exchange it with other types of capital so to promptly expand the basketball team's total capital and enlarge the distance in capital with other competitors and continue its championship.
