中華職棒球隊經營效率研究

摘要

我國的職業棒球運動從1990 年職棒元年發展至2015 年已邁入了26 個年度，中間歷經幾度的榮耀與灰暗，2014 年在許多旅外球員投入及義大犀牛企業化經營模式，使得中華職棒得以再一次走向高人氣與高張力的職業棒球榮景。職業棒球隊的經營模式，提升選手在場上技術效率才能提升球隊比賽品質。目的：本研究透過隨機邊界法探討我國職業棒球隊經營效率。方法：藉由定義球隊投入與產出後進行經營效率討論。結果：研究顯示，打點和薪資投入愈多、投手防禦率愈低，對於球隊的勝率皆有正面的影響，其中又以打點的影響最為顯著，薪資的影響較為不顯著。結論：整體而言，中華職棒4 個球隊效率值約落在90% 到97% 之間，顯示在現有的打點、投手防禦率、以及薪資投入組合中，中華職棒效率值有不錯的表現，並且提供給球團進而修改經營方針的參考。

In 1990, with benefit from the foundation of enterprises on Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL), the development of national baseball in Taiwan reached a new milestone. Similar to the management of a company, the factors concerning about that whether a professional team is able to make profits relate to the operation efficiency. Purpose: In this study, we investigate the operation efficiency of teams in Chinese Professional Baseball League with Stochastic Production Frontier Analysis. Methods: By defining input and output variables, operation efficiencies of each team were discussed. Results: The winning rate correlates positively with run batted in (RBI) and salary, negatively with earned run average (ERA). Furthermore, the influences of RBI is more significant than which of ERA and salary. This study provides a referential structure for future development of CPBL. Conclusions: According to the results, each enterprise that supports each team might be able to revise its managing guidelines to make higher profits.
