跆拳道初級專任運動教練職能落差分析

Competency Gap Analysis of Full-Time Beginner Taekwondo Coach

摘要


目的:跆拳道運動長年被寄予在奧林匹克運動會、亞洲運動會及國際大型運動競賽奪牌的厚望,教練專業能力的優劣將影響運動訓練的成效,對於國家整體競技水準的提升有其重要性。因此,本研究旨在探討跆拳道初級專任教練職能落差,以作為後續制定教練專業能力訓練課程之參考依據。方法:本研究透過落差分析檢視跆拳道初級專任運動教練具備的職能重要性與個人表現之間的差距。結果:研究結果顯示,跆拳道初級專任教練目前亟需改善的專業能力指標共有4項,分別是「擬定體能訓練能力(一般與專項)」、「具備跆拳道運動心理訓練能力」、「具備及時給予戰術指導能力」、「熱愛工作、滿腔熱情」。此4項指標被視為具有較高的重要程度,但運動教練卻知覺自己實際能力表現較低,顯示這些能力應為目前跆拳道初級專任教練應該積極改善的項目。討論:本研究結果將可做為政府推動跆拳道人才職能基準應用參考,以及協助跆拳道運動建立職能導向課程,並提供跆拳道相關單位教練培訓課程設計之參考,以培養出更符合實務需要之基層跆拳道教練人才。

Purpose: This study investigated the differences between competency and individual performance of full-time beginner Taekwondo coach through discrepancy analysis. Method: The performance questionnaire is designed with three dimensions and 23 competence indices. Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) is used to analyze the competency discrepancy, and the indices with priority training needs are identified. Results: Four indices required immediate improvement, which are: competence of planning physical training (general and specialized); competence of Taekwondo mental skills training; ability to give tactical guidance in time; and enthusiasm at work. These four indices are deemed to have higher importance but are judged as a lack of actual performance in full-time beginner Taekwondo coach. These results suggested that coaches should actively improve on these competencies. Conclusion: This study provided a foundation for examining professional competence education for coaches, providing a more theoretical development in practical coaching education. This study also served as a reference for future curriculum planning and nurturing basic level Taekwondo coaches.
