摘要

近年來因老化人口的增加，致使失智症這種特殊好發於老年人的疾病，隨著年齡之上升其發生率上升之趨勢。如何運用懷舊治療增加照護者對失智症老人的了解，進而降低失智老人的問題行為、社會互動，並藉此降低照護者的困擾及提昇照護者自我效能，實為當前建構失智症照護模式重要課題之一。本研究以為懷舊治療介入性措施改善護理之家失智老人問題行為之成效，藉由回憶過去的生活經驗，達到內在自我的整合，使人的一生在最後的一段路走來更趨圓滿，此療法對老人在心理的調適及社會適應上，具有相當重要的內涵及意義。而機構工作人員也藉由此研究及課程，深刻體驗到懷舊活動的概念及技巧，也藉由這樣的活動介入確實提昇護理之家內之照護品質，提供住民社會、身、心靈等趨於健全的持續性照護服務，也增加機構內工作人員的工作滿意度。

Many diseases such as dementia are increasing by the ageing population in the society. The quality of care for people with dementia is the vital issue of care for this group of people, the reminiscence therapy is one of the effective methods to decrease behavioral and inadequate social interaction among the elderly. The aim of this paper adapts reminiscence therapy to solve the behavioral problems in a nursing home. The authors used geriatric depression scale to evaluate the depression condition of the elderly. Pre-and post test of geriatric depression scale were used to compare the differences of the reminiscence therapy. This paper also discusses the contents of the two tests (pre and post test) to make suggestions of further interventions to decrease the severity of the depression among the elderly.
