宗教信念對教師生命及教學之影響歷程

THE INFLUENCING PROCESS OF RELIGIOUS BELIEFS ON THE TEACHERS' LIFE AND TEACHING

摘要


近年來,許多研究著重於教學信念對教師及學生之影響,然而教師心靈層面信念對形塑學生信念及價值觀扮演重要角色。有關探究教師宗教信念對教師生命及教學上的影響歷程之質性研究,卻付之闕如。因此本研究欲了解教師宗教信念對教師生命及教學上的影響。採敘事探究,以深入訪談,探索三位女性基督徒教師其信念形成歷程、價值觀的建立以及信念對其教學之影響。透過訪談資料分析後發現,宗教信念的形成皆與教師成長背景及文化氛圍相關,而在信念建立過程中,不同的際遇堅定其對信仰的信念,形塑其對生命及教學信念,宗教信念有助於教師建立自我概念及強化其教學信念。本研究透過對三位女性教師宗教信念形成之歷程及對其教學影響之探討與研究,期能對教學實務工作者提供參考。

Recently, a number of studies focused on the effects of teaching beliefs on teachers and students. However, the religious beliefs of teachers play a significant role in shaping the students' beliefs and values. There are few qualitative researches on the influence of teachers' spiritual beliefs on their life and teachings. Thus, the purpose of this study is to understand the effects of teachers' religious beliefs on the teachers' own self-awareness and their teachings. The research adopted the narrative method by in-depth interviewing three female Christian teachers to explore the process of formatting their religious beliefs, constructing values and the effects of religious beliefs on their own teaching. By analyzing the collected data, it was found that the formation of religious faith was related to the teachers' upbringing background and cultural environment. In the process of constructing faith-development, various life experiences strengthened their beliefs for their religion and had an impact on their life and teaching beliefs. Religious beliefs facilitate the formation of the teachers' self-concepts and teaching beliefs. Through the research on the experiences of constructing religious beliefs and teaching behaviors of the three female Christian teachers, the research provides suggestions to would-be teachers and educators.
