本研究以資料包絡分析法與超效率模式分析法,評估94學年度臺灣地區29所科技大學之投入及產出的相對效率,比較公和立科技大學經營效率的差異情形,並探討無效率學校應改進的方向與幅度。實證結果如下:以整體相對效率而言,在29個受評學校之中,有12所科技大學效率值等於1,屬於相對有效率的學校;超效率模式分析,將原本相對效率值爲1的多數科技大學其差異明確區別出來,而排名前5位的學校中,已有2所和立科技大學進入,在現今競爭激烈的高等教育市場中更顯不易;在投入產出組合平均相對效率上,國立科技大學與和立科技大學並無顯著差異;以差額變數分析探討科技大學產生相對無效率的原因,發現投入項之「職員人數」此一項目需改善幅度較大,建議各科技大學應加以調整其行政組織,並有效地運用既有的人力資源以提高其相關產出效能,而產出項目則在研究產出有明顯不足須加強與改善。
This study evaluated the input-output relative efficiency of twenty-night technological universities in the 2005 year by data envelopment analysis (DEA) and super-efficiency analysis. Also, we compared the efficiency differences among the public arid private technological universities, and investigated their implementation in directions of the inefficiency schools. The empirical results showed that, twelve technological universities were found to be efficiency of the overall operating efficiency as compared to the seventeen ones; by using super-efficiency analysis, it significantly differentiates most of technological universities with relative efficiency at 1 from others, in the competitive educational market of higher education nowadays, two private technological universities out of the top 5 ones outstand in particular; there were no difference related efficiency between public and private technological universities; by analyzing the radial movements and slack movements, the inefficiency technological universities should implement the faculty members of input resource and should increase their research output most.
