”Objective testability” is characteristic of science, but it cannot be applied to research of jurisprudence. Therefore, jurisprudence is not science. In the field of science, one has to clearly explain the research methods. Following the same methods, the results will be always consistent. As much as there are result methods in jurisprudence, following the same methods, the results may not necessarily be consistent. Since there is no objective testable answer to research of jurisprudence, we have to be even more cautious. We cannot simply rely on authorities or general theories but rather on ”doubtful and continuous quest.” That is the common point between jurisprudence and science.
