問題導向學習係指以學生為中心,有系統的教學形式。它以非結構與開放式之真實世界的問題做為學習的開始,採用多樣化的教學過程,期望學生能對問題有進一步的探究。 這樣的教學方式可視為連結理論與實際、學習內容與真實生活問題的橋樑,經由這樣的學習,學生學習的內容是統整性的、學習的技能是可解決實際問題的、且所產生的學習結果是多元的。 本文的主要目的在介紹問題導向學習的理論基礎、內涵、課程設計與教學歷程,最後指出問題導向學習有助於落實九年一貫課程的精神,並協助學生問題解決能力的發展作為結語。
Problem-based learning is a method of systematic and student-centred teaching, in which the students are given an open, ill-structured and real-life problem first. Then the teacher applies various processes and strategies of teaching to help students make further investigations about the problem by themselves. This teaching method can be served as a connection between theory and reality. It also connects learning materials and real-life problems as well. It provides students with integrated learning materials, and skills for solving real-life problems. So, the outcomes of learning are also multiple. The purpose of this article is to introduce the foundations, meaning, characteristics, curriculum design, and process of problem-based learning. Several suggestions about problem-based learning are also recommended.
