提升肝臟移植國際醫療病人術後護理指導完整性
Enhancing the Completion of Nursing Instruction for Post-Operative International Patients with Liver Transplantation
摘要
護理指導為護理專業重要環節，若無提供完整護理指導，將影響病人健康安全。本專案目的在於提升肝臟移植國際醫療病人術後護理指導完整性。問卷調查發現肝臟移植國際醫療病人接受護理人員術後護理指導瞭解程度64.5%、護理人員執行肝臟移植國際醫療病人術後護理指導完整性54.8%。經制定多媒體英語版肝臟移植手術護理指導學習光碟、制定英語版肝臟移植術後護理衛教手冊、制定英語版個人化識藥圖卡、擬定肝臟移植國際醫療病人術後護理指導檢核表、舉辦醫護英語教育訓練及修訂肝臟移植國際醫療病人術後作業流程後，肝臟移植國際醫療病人術後護理指導瞭解程度提升至88.9%、護理人員執行肝臟移植國際醫療病人術後護理指導完整性提升至88.4%，顯示專案介入措施效果有成效。

Nursing instruction is an important task in nursing profession because it may damage the health and safety of the international patients if without provided any nursing instruction postoperatively.The purpose of this project was to improve the completion rate for post-operative international patient receiving liver transplantation.Prior to the project, the survey revealed that the rate of awareness of the post-operative nursing instructions for international patient after liver transplantation was 64.5% whereas the actual completion rate of the post-operative nursing instructions for international patient receiving liver transplantation was 54.8%. To enhance the completion rate, we proposed several measures: (1) provision of English version of liver transplant using care multimedia education DVDs. (2) English version of post-operative nursing instructions booklet. (3) English version of medication recognition cards. (4) the postoperative nursing instructions checklist for international patients after liver transplantation, arrangement of nursing English education training, and amendment of the post-operative management procedures. After the implementation of the project, not only the rate of awareness of the post-operative nursing instructions for international patient after liver transplantation has improved to 94.1%, the nursing instruction completion rate for post-operative international patients after liver transplantation has also improved to 88.4%. The project in improving the completion rate of nursing interventions for this group of patients was successful.
