摘要

全球與肥胖有關的醫療保健問題正在迅速增加。肥胖的人與糖尿病，阻塞性睡眠呼吸中止症，心血管疾病等合併症高度相關，也會影響免疫系統，產生慢性發炎，除了增加感染性疾病的風險外，更可能增加癌症風險。減重手術是目前治療病態性肥胖最有效的方法，文獻證明減重手術除了擁有極佳的減重效果外，更能控制肥胖帶來的合併症、降低慢性發炎、甚至可降低感染風險與降低癌症的風險，維持患者長期健康。

Obesity-related healthcare problems are rapidly increasing globally. Obese people are highly related to comorbidities such as diabetes, obstructive sleep apnea, and cardiovascular disease. Obesity can also affect the immune system and produce chronic inflammation. In addition to increasing the risk of infectious diseases, they are more likely to increase the risk of cancer. Bariatric surgery is currently the most effective method for treating morbid obesity. Literature has proven that bariatric surgery not only has excellent weight loss effects, but also can control complications caused by obesity, reduce chronic inflammation, and reduce the risk of infection and cancer.
