冒險教育課程對小型企業員工教育訓練之長期成效研究

The Long-term Effects of Adventure Experiential Education on a Small-sized Business

摘要


冒險教育是近年來逐漸重視的人力資源教育訓練方法,也有越來越多的運動休閒相關科系開授此一教育訓練課程。相較於以往的冒險教育研究多著墨於學生,而少數於一般企業之研究又多集中於訓練完之立即成效,本研究則針對該教育訓練於企業之長期成效做一探究,尤其是在臺灣此一以中小型企業為主的經濟體系裡。本研究採取了個案研究法,以半結構式的質性訪談來對一間小型企業做資料蒐集,以主軸編碼與主題式分析來對訪談資料做分析。研究結果發現在訓練完的兩年後,冒險教育參與者於工作面向、社交面向與個人發展面向之成效都依然明顯,其中工作面向之成效最為明顯,但個人面向之成效只有部分依然存在,並且三個面向的成效經過兩年已經是互相有強烈的關聯,要分割實屬不易。本研究建議後續的研究者可針對大型企業及參與者的更深層心理層面做更進一步的研究。

Adventure experiential education has been increasingly promoted as an ideal training approach for human resource development. More and more departments of sports and/or leisure/recreation also provide this kind of training programs. Previous studies of adventure experiential education upon businesses largely focus on the immediate training effects; this study focuses upon the long-term effects of adventure experiential education. This study employed a qualitative case study approach to examine the long-term effects of adventure experiential education on a small-sized business. Semi-structured interviews were employed for the data collection. Axial coding and thematic analysis were the methods employed for data analysis. The findings reveal that after 2 years' period of time, the work-place, social and personal effects were still effective upon the interview participants. Furthermore, the effects of work-place were the most effective one, and the personal effects were only partly existed. The findings also suggest that it is not easy to have a clear cut among these 3 types of effects due to their long-term mutual influences. This study suggests future researchers can focus on big companies, off-work effects of adventure experiential education, and other psychological factors influencing the effect of adventure experiential education.
