台灣空氣污染與呼吸道疾病健康風險

摘要

本研究整理1995年至2009年3月PubMed醫學圖書資料庫中部分有關台灣地區空氣品質與呼吸道疾病之發表，使用之關鍵字爲Taiwan、air pollution、respiratory、health或Petrochemical，收集之文獻彙整成表並進一步說明台灣慢性呼吸道疾病盛行趨勢、空氣污染與慢性呼吸道疾病相關分析以及多重風險因子與疾病發展。目前發現本土已有許多研究討論台灣慢性呼吸道疾病、氣喘與大氣空氣污染濃度之關係。不論在流行病學調查，或是二手資料分析均發現交通污染物(NO2, NOx, Co)、O3及PM10是隱性呼吸道健康最大負面影響來源。建議未來本土研究方向應朝1.多項風險因子交互作用與疾病風險，2.城鄉比較暨環境風險分析以及3.除環保署規範之指標性空氣污染物外，他種空氣污染物對呼吸道疾病流行病學研究。

The detrimental health effects of ambient air pollution have caught the Taiwanese public's attention in recent years. Many studies have identified significant positive associations between respiratory diseases and nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, ozone, and particulate matter. Effects from traffic-related air pollutants have especially been verified. In this review, we suggest some topics worthy of future study in Taiwan. They include the synergistic effects of co-exposure to multiple risk factors, risk differences between urban and rural areas, and the effects of newly identified air toxins on persons with chronic respiratory diseases.
