摘要

在本世紀RFID被視為一項重大技術，且近年來RFID之革新使其逐漸被廣泛應用， 例如科技製造業、交通運輸業、生物科技和醫療資訊等。國內起因於2003年SARS疫情，醫療院所目前正處於起步階段且積極導入RFID。而病患安全是世界衛組織（WHO）最重視的議題，減少醫療錯誤是提升病患安全的重要目標。SARS疫情過後，有多家醫療院所皆以病患安全為導入RFID的方向。在醫院裡RFID應用於護理照顧可改善病患安全且提升護理人員之工作效率。本研究以創新擴散理論來探討RFID技術實施時所面臨的問題及影響因素，分析醫院在導入RFID初期時有那些因素會對醫院和護士有深切的影響，並探討其可行性，以協助醫院成功的導入RFID且提供經驗給其他醫院做為參考與建議。

Radio frequency identification (RFID) technology is recognized as one of the most important technological advancements of the 20th century, and further recent improvements in RFID technology have made it even more popular in recent years, with applications in IT manufacturing processes, transportation, biological technology, and medical information, among other uses. The SARS outbreak in 2003 spurred hospitals to introduce RFID technology more proactively than other institutions in Taiwan, and they are currently using RFID at the initial stage. One of the most important issues discussed by the World Healthcare Organization (WHO) is patient safety, with a primary goal being reductions in medical errors. After the SARS outbreak, more and more hospitals have begun to apply RFID for various purposes, especially for patient safety. Using RFID in nursing can improve both patient safety and the working efficiency of nurses in hospitals. The present study investigates the problems and influencing factors encountered during RFID implementation using the diffusion of innovations theory. We can thereby better understand what the important factors influencing RFID implementation in nursing are at present, and also learn more about the feasibility of further implementation. As such, the findings can help hospitals and nurses make improvements in their own work and provide recommendations to others hospitals.
