清華大學新生體適能檢測與追蹤分析

Physical Fitness Examination and Tracking Analysis of National Tsing Hua University's Freshmen

摘要


教育部從1999年開始積極推行體適能教育,主要希望養成學生規律運動習慣以增強體適能,進而達到預防慢性疾病及保障健康之目的。目的:本研究目的在檢測99-101學年度清華大學大一學生的體適能現況,並藉以設計合適的體育課程。方法:以母體普查的調查方式來實際檢測學生體適能,檢測內容使用教育部1999年委託中華民國體育學會制訂的檢測內容,包含身體組成、肌肉適能、心肺適能、柔軟度及瞬發力等五個項目。結果:清華大學男生體適能除了坐姿體前彎及立定跳遠之外,其餘均優於大專常模標準、女生體適能除了立定跳遠之外,其餘項目均優於大專常模標準,其中,在心肺適能、一分鐘仰臥起坐及立定跳遠部分男女生皆呈逐年下滑趨勢。結論:增加多元心肺訓練課程,以改進清華大學學生的心肺適能,並透過體育課程的推展,增進學生健康體適能的概念,以養成自我規律運動習慣。

Physical fitness is an education policy that has been promoted by the Ministry of Education since 1999. The main objective of the policy is to help students to become regularly involved in sports and exercises, and through such involvement maintain a sound body and mind for disease prevention. Purpose: The aim of this study is to design physical education programs that are suitable for Tsing Hua University's students based on the physical fitness exam results of the university's freshmen from the 2010 school year. Methods: We use population census to survey students' physical fitness, following the examination content published by the National Society of Physical Education in 1999. Students are tested for five areas of physical fitness, namely, body composition, muscular fitness, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, and power. Results: Results indicate that physical fitness of male students at Tsing Hua University is better than the standard norm for college students in all areas except sitting trunk flexion and standing long jump, whereas female students are better in all areas except standing long jump. However, both female and male students display a year-on-year decline in cardiovascular fitness, one-minute sit-ups, and standing long jump. Conclusions: Based on the above results, more cardiovascular training courses should be added to the physical education curriculum to help improve students' cardiovascular fitness. Also, physical education courses need to be promoted to enhance the concept of healthy physical fitness in students, so as to encourage them to involve in regular exercises.
