A Comparative Study of Motor Skill between Different Preparative Positions Soft Tennis Players

摘要

Purposes: To comparative with 3 major categories of motor skills of soft tennis (ST) between differences positions (net and baseline) of ST players. Methods: The volunteers were the male high school ST players (net player n=22, baseline player n=21), 3 tested categories of motor skill with 20 motor skill test items designed, 2 for speed, 15 for ST motor skills (4 for serve, 4 for reserve, 2 for flat Shot, 4 for volley, 1 for overhead), and 3 for endurance, and tested by 2 echelon. Each echelon had 4 test days (2 days by first test and 2 days by second test). Each test day tested with 10 motor skill test items. The mix design two-way ANOVA were used to analyze the data (α=.05). Results: The motor skill items between net player and baseline player by speed with ”30 m dash”, reserve with ”reserve during low slice serve (in left receiving formation)”, volley with ”forehand volley”, ”backhand volley”, ”forehand volley on center line”, ”backhand volley on center line”, and overhead were eminent different (p<.05), and the net player better than the baseline player. But other for 14 test items, were not eminent different. Conclusions: Net players have better speed, volley and overhead performance than baseline players. However, no difference between two groups, maybe cause by the different preparative positions and characteristics ST motor skill.
