「文化與影像-新移民生命故事」課程設計實例探討

摘要


在全球化與跨文化異國通婚雙重影響下,臺灣已呈現出「新移民社會」面相,因此深化多元文化相互尊重的公民素養益顯迫切,但「多元尊重」並非只是新移民單方面融入在地文化而已;相對地,我們也應該以多元文化為核心概念,積極培養對新移民原生社會文化的認知,唯有如此,方能落實「多元尊重」的目標。本課程僅就個人教授「文化與影像-新移民生命故事」為例,針對文本擇取、教材教法運用、教學活動與作業設計、教學實例分享等提出淺見,期能透過課程設計展現通識教育的精神及內涵。

Under the double influences of globalization and cross-cultural intermarriage, an aspect of ”new immigrant society” has appeared in Taiwan. Deepening the civilian's cultivation of multicultural respect has thus become an urgent issue. Yet, ”multi-respect” is not just a one-way local cultural immersion of the new immigrants; in contrast, multi-culture should be taken as a core concept by local people so as to foster the knowledge of the immigrants' native societies and cultures. This is the only way to achieve the goal of ”multi-respect”.The course, Culture and Images- Life Stories of the New Immigrants, is taken as an example of teaching design in a few aspects: the selection of texts, the application of teaching materials and pedagogy, teaching activities, the design of exercises and the share of teaching examples. The ideals and spirits of general education are expected to express in this course.
