本研究的目的在透過訪談及觀察方法,了解男性健身運動參與者在肌肉上癮與自我身體檢查行為的情形。研究參與者為6人,平均年齡38.83+6.72歲,平均健身年資4.6年。本研究將訪談資料以及觀察記錄經轉化為逐字稿後,以內容分析法予以分類,並採用「分析者三角檢定法」以求研究之效度及客觀性。研究結果顯示:1.從事健身運動者初期並不會出現肌肉成癮的情緒,大概要持續半年以上才可能會有類似的現象出現,特別是有了比較明顯的目標訂定後;2.健身運動從事者會使用營養補給品,但也耳聞有人會因為參賽或其他因素而使用藥物;3.健身運動從事者會無意識地出現自我身體檢查行為,可以藉此提高自信心。本研究之結論是期望讓更多人重視對於體型的正確價值觀,並且提倡健康的健身觀念。
The purposes of this study were to explore of muscle dysmorphia and body checking behaviors in male weight trainees. There had 6 participants, aged was 38.83+6.72, and average training seniorities was 4.6 years. In addition, 6 subjects were to participate interview in this study. The results were as follows: 1. the weight trainees weren't to have muscle dysmorphia, when they training to over half a year maybe have that emotion, especially have the goal to setting; 2. the weight trainees had use nutritional supplements to improve their performance, but even heard someone used drug; 3. the weight trainees used body checking behaviors to improve their self-confidence. It is concluded let more people to pay attention the issues in correct concept of body and muscle.
