基於建構論之商貿翻譯教學行動研究

Action Research on Constructivist Approach to Undergraduate Business Translation Course

摘要


本研究以科技大學應用日語系日間部四年制學生的商貿翻譯課程做為行動研究案例,調查學生小組合作的運作方式,檢視本課程引導學生應用語言跨域學習的成效。本研究以學生為主體的建構論設計翻譯課程,通過讓學生共同解決翻譯任務中的跨領域問題,了解實際社會運作的模式,亦希望從中調查學生小組合作的運作方式,分析學生合作互動型態以及可能阻礙翻譯學習的問題點。研究結果顯示,本課程提升同學對翻譯的興趣,有助強化商業知識與面對跨領域的態度,合作學習有助商貿翻譯的學習,但課程設計需要特別注意翻譯題材選擇、學生時間配合等問題。本研究結果有助於翻譯教學專業進一步的成長與進步,希望未來帶動更多研究,促進教師改善翻譯教學、提升學生翻譯學習成效。

This is an action research study based on translation teaching of undergraduate students of department of applied Japanese in university of technology. The Japanese-Chinese translation course design is based on constructivist approach which aims at construct a student-centered classroom and cooperation learning environment. The purpose of the study is to investigate how the student's cooperative learning works and to examine the effectiveness of this course in guiding students learning and applying cross-domain knowledge. This course helps students to understand the cross-domain issues and the actual social operations through accomplishing translation tasks with peers, and promote the effectiveness of translation learning. This study also hopes to investigate types of students' interaction and the problems that may hinder translation learning. The research results show that this course enhances students' interest in translation, and also broaden their knowledge on the domain of business. It is hoped that there are more action researches of this kind undertaken in the future to improve teachers' personal translation teaching ability and achieve the effectiveness of translation learning.
