The Relationship between Spirituality and Trauma Recovery in Spiritual Intervention

This study explores the relationship between spirituality and trauma recovering by reviewing the literature or the spirituality of trauma, the spiritual intervention of the women with sexually abuse and alcohol addiction, and people with death and illness. People with trauma coping are intending to find the meaning of life and reduce their physical and psychological pain. Several results of the spiritual intervention of trauma coping are: (1) Being aware of the spiritual healing needs, (2) relationship between workers and clients are related to the universe, (3) trauma recovering is connected to spiritual change and religious convention change, (4) separate the disillusion from illusion, (5) spirituality is not just a resource for trauma survivors to cope with but a natural spirit, (6) forgiveness gives an inner power to go through spiritual health path, and (7) attending a higher level power has impacted in the process of spirituality coping stages.
